Lets Make a Mess

Lyla’s first haircut and Jam’s new toy

June 9, 2011 by Rachel Leave a Comment

I didn’t think that I would ever want to cut Lyla’s hair, but I realized that it needed a little trim. I planned on trimming the back, cutting bangs, and cutting back some of the dark frizzy ends.

It was very difficult to cut Lyla’s hair. She kept wanting to grab at the scissors. I really miss her old hair but I think that the new look is great. Her hair looks a lot lighter overall now since I cut a lot of the dark hair. Of course I saved it.

Showing off her pony tail and bangs look…

My aunt found this wooden cart at a yard sale in great condition. It is so cute and Benjamin loves it. One one side it has a little wooden puzzle and on the other is a dry erase board. It looks like a shopping cart but I think that Benjamin thinks it is a stroller for Oo-Oo the monkey and Elmo. He wants to put all of his favorite things in there and drive it all over the house.

He also found this beanie (he is obsessed with hats right now) and wore it all day. He even learned how to put in on all by himself.

Oo-Oo, Elmo, and his little football. Three of his favorite things.
