Polaroid Ornament – The Winthrop Chronicles

December 4, 2013 by Rachel 2 Comments

Handmade Ornament #4
Hello, my name is Sarah and I blog over at The Winthrop Chronicles. I’m so happy to be here today at Lines Across! I love all things crafty, fashionable and yummy. I also host a link party on Tuesdays, I would love to see you stop by sometime!

Today I want to share some little ornaments I made. After I decorated our Christmas tree and put these ornaments all over, my husband deemed this his favorite Christmas tree  e v e r  because so much of the tree was images of our family. These are super simple too, you just need a few things: some cardboard polaroids, I got mine from Polaroid Fotobar. I thought they would look more interesting than just a normal photo, but you can certainly use a plain photo or even put a white piece of card stock behind a plain photo. I spray painted some mini clothes pins gold and tied a piece of twine through them. I made a little banner with scrap book paper and burlap. I then taped the banner to the photo and clipped on the clothes pin and that’s it!

I love having a Christmas tree that reminds me of my family. Then after Christmas is over, I can clip the photos on to my pallet Christmas card holder I made. And you can have your cute little photos on display all year!
