Eco Art Kits - Artterro Review and Giveaway

I'm excited to share Artterro with you all today. If you're like me, you love craft supplies. Craft kits are a fun way to be creative, and make excellent gifts. Artterro has a large variety of fun, unique, natural art kits full of open-ended projects and quality materials. Since the kits are full of natural products, each kit is unique from all the rest.

(P.S. Use the code LINES20 for 20% off your order between now and February 28.)

I was sent the Creativity Kit to review (and scroll down to enter to win one of your own!). There were so many cute materials in the kit that I know I will use in a lot of different projects in the future. I was especially drawn to the beautiful colors of the paper, thread, beads, and heavy wool felt.

I wanted to make a couple of hair clips for my daughter out of the felt shapes. I especially love how this red and orange whimsical felt flower turned out.

How to: Each color of thread has 6 strands. Divide one in half. I love red and orange together. Stitch lines evenly around the border of your felt circle. Then using the same thread, stitch a handful of seed beads in the center. Attach to a bobby pin or alligator clip and enjoy.

I also stitched a smaller purple border around the blue felt heart and added a white L to the middle. Lyla loves her new felt hair clips.

Here are a few other Artterro kits I wanted to highlight for you:

1. Paint with Wool Kit
2. Wool Felt Bug Kit
3. Canvas Storybook Kit
4. Art Journal Kit

Don't forget, you can use the code LINES20 between now and February 28 for 20% off your order.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

*I was provided an Artterro craft kit to review, but I was not otherwise paid. All opinions are my own.

Teacher Appreciation Cards

Last week was teacher appreciation week at my son's preschool. I decided to make some teacher appreciation cards that say "A is for Amazing."

Print this card HERE.

These cards are really great for a teacher on any occasion, from the end of the year to birthdays. I used a light gray chevron background that you can download and print for free. I've also created a set of 10 different colors that you can purchase through ShopLocket below. Once you've purchased them, you can print as many as you want over and over again.

Print onto white card stock and fold in half. Two cards print per page. The folded card measures 3" x 5".

We sent some Lindor truffles, Tazo tea, and a Starbucks gift card to Benjamin's two teachers. He only goes to preschool two mornings a week, and he really loves his teachers.

You can print the light gray chevron cards for free HERE, or download all 10 colors below.

Monday Funday #6

Welcome to the 6th Monday Funday. So far, it has been a huge success - LOTS of links, features, AND exposure. The past couple of weeks, I've been laying a little low and spending some much needed time with my family. We've been working on potty training my daughter, helping take care of my grandmother, and doing some early spring cleaning. Hopefully I'll share my son's room with you soon. I also have two giveaways coming up this week and a fun teacher appreciation card and another tutorial. I'm excited to be catching up after a little time away.
