I’m so excited to formally announce the big project I’ve been working on for the past few months. I got the opportunity to design a family photo book with Mixbook and it really has been so much fun. There were a few moments that I was overthinking things, but I just love how it turned out. (I think the back cover with all of the washi tape and the little unicorn is my favorite!)
If you’re not familiar with Mixbook, they’re basically just high quality photo books that you can personalize yourself. You can either start from scratch completely, or work from one book’s design. My design is called “Everyday Colorful by Lines Across” and there are a bunch of different backgrounds, layouts, and stickers that you can choose from to make your book your own. But what’s great is that it really isn’t much work since the book is already laid out for you. And also these books make AMAZING Christmas gifts for family and friends!
Here’s a sneak peek inside one of the pages from my personal family photo book. The book is very colorful, fun, and trendy. The stickers are a mix of objects from a pineapple to pink heart sunglasses to a vintage camera and they also include some hand lettered words and phrases that you can add to your book. And the backgrounds are a mix of black brush pen patterns and watercolors. Be sure to check the book out, and to stop by Instagram to enter the awesome Mixbook giveaway open from 12/1-12/8.
