Felt Spider Mums

Felt Spider Mums

These felt spider mum flowers (chrysanthemums) are so easy to make. All you need is felt, scissors, and glue. What you do: 1. Cut strips of felt. I cut across the short side of a piece of felt so that the strips are 8.5 inches by 1.25 inches. You can play around with different sizes to make smaller or larger flowers. (Also, did you know that you can use a

Embroidered Letter Canvases

I have been wanting to play around with embroidering onto canvases for a while now. These mini canvases are perfect for this little project and I love how my R H initials turned out. They will fit perfectly in my new little craft space. First pick a font that you like (I used Bebas Nueve), print it off of your computer, and cut it out. Because I didn’t want to

Cheap Washi Tape at Target

Target has this awesome new line of office supplies that are so cute and very affordable. My favorite finds were this little pink tape dispenser and this very cute washi tape. It came in sets of reds, blues, and greens. The best part is, it only cost $4 for the 4 pack. That’s the best deal on craft tape I’ve ever seen. I will probably be trying out some of

Decorate Your Erasers

Decorate Your Erasers

This was a really fun and simple project. I am very happy with how it turned out. All you need is scrapbook paper, glue or mod podge, scissors, and of course erasers. I love these Pentel Hi-Polymer Block Erasers. 1. Choose the scrapbook paper you want to use. I found that thin paper worked much better than card stock. Cut a strip of paper to the exact length of the eraser

Sift Sand to Find Sand Rocks

Pin It This is a really fun activity that Benjamin, Lyla, and I have been doing lately when we are playing outside. All you need is play sand and a sifter. Sift the sand (it needs to be dry sand) and you are left with all of these little sand rocks. It is a great exercise to help build fine motor skills. This is also a great way to show

Floating Tea Tin Organizers (It feels so good to get organized)

I am so excited to finally have my own work space! I attached empty tea tins to the side of my shelf to use as organizers. My pens and pencils, scissors, and markers are easily within reach but they aren’t sitting on my desk taking up valuable space. Plus they look really cute. I used a level and a ruler to mark where I wanted the tins. I then attached

Delicious Homemade Pink Lemonade

I used to think that homemade lemonade took forever to make. Since it has been spring here in Florida basically all winter, we decided to make some lemonade the other day. It only took about 15 minutes and it is so delicious! What you need: About 5 lemons (1 cup of lemon juice) 7 and 1/3 cups of water 1 and 1/4 cups of sugar 2 tablespoons of grenadine (optional
