Beatles Quotes – Free Printables – How to download free fonts

July 23, 2011 by Rachel 2 Comments

I love playing around with fonts and colors and I especially love cute quotes and graphics.

I made a couple printables from Beatles’ songs (All you need is love, and Blackbird).

I still have a LOT to learn but I could definitely do this all day.

This week I started a crafty link party called “The Cure for the Common Monday” and I would love it for everyone to stop by and link up a couple posts. Thanks!

How to download free fonts (Windows):
I downloaded a few free fonts from the following websites and then used them to make these fun quotes.
http://www.1001freefonts.com
http://www.urbanfonts.com
Both of these websites are very easy to use and have a great selection of free fonts. You don’t have to pay, but there are options where you do pay. You simply click “download” next to the font that you want. Then open your downloads file and right-click on the font file (.zip) and click extract all. In a separate window, open up your control panel, then open the file called FONTS. Now simply click and drag the font file into the font folder. These new fonts should be available to use in your other programs.

Hi Rachel, would you mind sharing the name of the font in "All You Need is Love"? Just found your blog and love that printable!

Do you have that quote printable for download here, or are you just sharing the image of what you did?

    Thanks!
