Eco Art Kits – Artterro Review and Giveaway

February 21, 2013 by Rachel 14 Comments

I’m excited to share Artterro with you all today. If you’re like me, you love craft supplies. Craft kits are a fun way to be creative, and make excellent gifts. Artterro has a large variety of fun, unique, natural art kits full of open-ended projects and quality materials. Since the kits are full of natural products, each kit is unique from all the rest.

(P.S. Use the code LINES20 for 20% off your order between now and February 28.)

I was sent the Creativity Kit to review (and scroll down to enter to win one of your own!). There were so many cute materials in the kit that I know I will use in a lot of different projects in the future. I was especially drawn to the beautiful colors of the paper, thread, beads, and heavy wool felt.

I wanted to make a couple of hair clips for my daughter out of the felt shapes. I especially love how this red and orange whimsical felt flower turned out.

How to: Each color of thread has 6 strands. Divide one in half. I love red and orange together. Stitch lines evenly around the border of your felt circle. Then using the same thread, stitch a handful of seed beads in the center. Attach to a bobby pin or alligator clip and enjoy.

I also stitched a smaller purple border around the blue felt heart and added a white L to the middle. Lyla loves her new felt hair clips.

Here are a few other Artterro kits I wanted to highlight for you:

1. Paint with Wool Kit
2. Wool Felt Bug Kit
3. Canvas Storybook Kit
4. Art Journal Kit

Don’t forget, you can use the code LINES20 between now and February 28 for 20% off your order.

*I was provided an Artterro craft kit to review, but I was not otherwise paid. All opinions are my own.
