Lines Across

Lets Make a Mess

Free Printable Tic-Tac-Toe Game

April 23, 2016 by Rachel Leave a Comment

Thanks Goldfish® Crackers for sponsoring these printable tic-tac-toe game boards. I only work with brands that I love and that I think you will love too. Thanks for supporting the brands that support Lines Across!

I have a 2 year old son who is both the cutest but also most demanding little guy. Sometimes I worry that he takes up too much of my attention and that I don’t get to spend enough one on one time with my older kids who are 5 and 6. So when my kids get home from school in the afternoons and little Oliver goes down for his nap, I always try to spend a little special time with Benjamin and Lyla. Free Printable Tic Tac Toe game for kids - snack time

Sometimes, we just end out watching TV together while having an after school snack, but we also really love playing games together. Benjamin and Lyla are so close in age and play together so well. Of course they fight too, but we have a lot of fun!

I created these printable tic-tac-toe game boards that you can use with Goldfish crackers. What’s great is that you can use the same board over and over again. It would even be fun to print these and laminate them so that they would last even longer and feel even more official.

We used the Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel crackers to play this game, and quite a few crackers were eaten in the process. You can easily use two different varieties of Goldfish crackers for each kid, but the Goldfish Mix crackers are perfect because there are two different varieties in each bag.

So basically to play the game, each kid picks a cracker. Benjamin wanted to be the Xtra Cheddar crackers and Lyla wanted to be the Pretzels. Then they play the game like regular tic-tac-toe but using a cracker instead of X and O. Then at the top of the sheet I included a little section to keep score. The winner of each round puts a Goldfish cracker in their team’s box. Whoever reaches the end of the box first wins.

And if you love Goldfish crackers like we do, there’s a fun promotion going on right now! You can even get your kids to help out with it. Now through 4/30 you can create a photo or video that shows off Goldfish crackers in an art theme via Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #GoldfishTalesPromotion to enter. Posts using #GoldfishTalesPromotion may appear in the gallery on GoldfishSmiles.com. No Purchase Necessary. Open only to 50 US/DC residents 18+. Ends 4/30/16. Official rules and more at www.GoldfishSmiles.com. Void where prohibited.

And how cute is this outtake? I asked Lyla to hold her hand still for a second while she was placing her pretzel cracker, and she reached across with her other hand to grab a cracker to snack on. She technically did keep her hand still!
