15 Paper Gift Box Templates

October 20, 2016 by Rachel 10 Comments

You may have noticed that I’m a little obsessed with DIY gift boxes. I enjoy making them, whether I am creating my own free printable gift box templates or I’m just printing and assembling one that some one else has gratefully shared. They are such a fun way to give small gifts or favors, and are perfect for everything from a Christmas party to a wedding. I especially love to give jewelry in these little boxes. I made these little hexagon gift boxes from this template. I love the Neon Cardstock colors.

I’ve gathered together 15 DIY gift box tutorials and templates. Click on the links below to visit the blogs or pages that shared the tutorials and to print off or save the free templates. I recommend using 65 lb Cardstock.

A few tips for assembling DIY gift box templates:

1. If you use letter sized cardstock, you can print the templates directly onto your paper, saving you a lot of time and trouble!

2. I also HIGHLY recommend using Elmer’s Dot Runner or something similar when assembling these kinds of boxes. It is so easy to use, and then you don’t have to sit around and wait for glue to dry. It also makes it easy to get adhesive on little tabs of paper.

3. I’ve also shared a lot of free printable pillow boxes, which are the easiest gift boxes of all to assemble. You can find all of the DIY gift boxes that I’ve shared here.

Love the boxes but can’t find templates for the Suitcase box, the Favor boxes, or Bon Bon boxes and the instruction for the Hexagon box. Help?
